For the first time, a prototype for an updated Maserati Quattroporte was seen.
It is the second update of the current generation of Quattroporte, in which the large sedan takes over the electrification. It will also bring some styling improvements to the outside and probably some new technical updates in the cockpit.
No powertrain details have been released, other than confirmation that a new plug-in hybrid option will be available. A battery-powered Quattroporte is not expected until the nameplate was redesigned around 2022 or 2023.
We are currently expecting a new infotainment system and new electronic driver assistance functions for in-cab technology.
As mentioned earlier, changes to Quattroporte will be the second round of car updates. The new generation of the flagship Maserati was introduced for 2014, and received its first update for 2017. This second update will be introduced for 2021.
Maserati has a busy time. Indeed, the entire carmaker must be fully expanded and expanded in just two years. A kind of revival that focuses on electricity should start in April with an updated entry from Ghibli. You may follow the new super MC20 in May and join the updated Quattroporte and Levante sometime in the summer. However, this ongoing epidemic is worrying as Maserati postponed the results to September.
