The 114,000 $ Audi RS7 Sportback may have been sold in the U.S. a month ago, but has been sold in Europe for some time. ABT released its first package in late January, when the RS7 received 22-inch aerodynamic wheels and upgraded the performance to 690 horsepower.
Learn about RS7-R. It has a V8 engine with 730 hp turbochargers and 920 Nm of torque. ABT has improved more than just the engine, the car is now running on new 22-inch wheels and has a four-way exhaust system that replaces the RS7 double oval ends. The entire body packaging was added, along with the spoiler lip at the front as the bumper is now covered with ducks. Also new is the rear spoiler and diffuser, which, like all other accessories, is immersed in carbon fiber.
ABT has also done some interior work to add more carbon fiber and leather. The center console now contains a badge that says the RS7 Sportback loader will be a limited issue, as only 125 cars will be converted to the RS7-R specification. This special car really belongs to German racing driver Daniel Abt, hence the “Handcrafted for Daniel Abt” on the center console cover.
The tuner does not indicate how quickly the RS7 Sportback tracked the dramatic increase in performance, but we will remind you that the standard model with a power of 591 horsepower and its engines 800 Nm from 0 to 100 km / h. In 3.6 seconds it reaches a top speed of 305 km / h. If you want an even stronger RS7 than Audi, this may happen, as Audi indicated at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year when the car suggested that a hybrid boost with more support could come later.
Although RS7-R is good, we are glad to see RS6-R based on the latest RS6 Avant. We don’t have to wait any longer as ABT promised that the full presentation will take place in the second half of April.
