BMW collaborates with fashion brand Kith to create the stunning M4


The new BMW M4 is not in showrooms yet, but the car manufacturer has already revealed its first special edition.


In collaboration with the New York fashion brand Kith, BMW developed an individual M4 Competition Coupé. Known as the M4 Competition x Kith, only 150 units are sold worldwide and the order book opens on Friday.

Priced at $ 110,245 including destination, it will ship as a 2022 model in 2021. With competitive M4 deals starting at $ 75,695, BMW charges a lot more for the Kith version. We assume that this is the price to pay for fashion.

The unique details of the vehicle were introduced by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, who owns an E30 M3 that he has customized with some of the modifications shown here.

It starts with the BMW cockade on the front, which underlines the partnership between BMW and Kith. This theme of merging the two brands is continued in the rear, where there is a “KITH” lettering in BMW M colors. The same motif appears on the roof of the car.

The interior is also decorated with the word “KITH” on the seats, center console and armrests. It is rounded off by carbon panels and bucket seats in BMW M colors.

Buyers are limited to the matte surfaces Frozen Black, Frozen Dark Silver and Frozen Brilliant White. The red example shown in the gallery was developed for the design studio only.

All M4 Competition Coupes are equipped with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder, twin-turbocharged engine that develops 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque and is mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, although only rear-wheel drive is offered initially. A standard M4 with 473 hp, 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive is also available. The new M4 series will be available in stores as the 2021 model next March.
