Now Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is official, we’ve seen several spy photos to prove this. In addition, Stuttgart has already confirmed the introduction of the fully electric car during this year.
Nevertheless, Porsche has all hands on deck when it comes to developing the production version of Mission E Cross Turismo. Our spy photographers saw the Taycan Cross Tourism test in the snow more than two months ago. This time, however, the latest spies show him how he tests his limousine counterpart.
Taycan Cross Turismo does not cover much of its production side. The only covers you’ll see are around the taillights, which are different from those crowns.
Nevertheless, cross tourism is of course heavily based on the Taycan architecture. It is the first Taycan-based derivative, the cornerstone of the Porsche electrification drive.
Therefore, expect the same powertrain options for the Taycan Cross Turismo with outputs from 530 hp (395 kilowatts) to 761 hp (567 kW).
Taycan Cross Tourism will enter the world stage later this year. This was shown in the Porsche Annual and Sustainability Report 2019 in March. This event also confirmed that the fully electric Macan 2022 will make its debut.
As is the case with other Taycan similes, Porsche refuses to reveal it exactly, but expects nothing less than Porsche in terms of electricity. This is the direction the automotive industry is heading, and you can rest assured that Stuttgart always wants to be one step ahead of this attack.
