Koenigsegg and Polestar collaborated on at least one thing. The two companies have moved to Sweden, but a new post on Koenigsegg Instagram suggests that brands have more in common than it seems.
As we see below, Koenigsegg shared a photo that shows the front clips of two cars. One of them is the new four-seater Gemera hypercar, recently presented at the Geneva Motor Show. The other is the Polestar Precept Concept, another car that will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show. As an explanation, the post-teaser only tells us that something exciting is happening and that we have to be “vigilant”.
The teasing is not limited to Koenigsegg. In the Instagram feed of Polestars, we have another photo of the two cars, this time showing their buttocks. The text of this article is also vague, even if we are told at least that the meeting takes place on the west coast of Sweden. “Stay tuned” is mentioned again, so it’s not a spontaneous collaboration. We feel deeper plans and a clear strategy here.
Unfortunately, we are as dark as everyone. We haven’t heard of rumors of a collaboration between Polestar and Koenigsegg, but there are certainly additional similarities between the two brands that go beyond their Swedish roots.
The Gemera is Koenigsegg’s sight in a four-seater GT car with at least some functions, which can accommodate four people and has enough space for groceries or suitcases. It is also highly electrified as a plug-in hybrid, using three electric motors and a three-cylinder engine with two turbochargers to develop an impressive combined power of 1,700 hp.
Like all Polestars, the Polestar Precept concept is electrified and performance is part of the company’s philosophy. Although it is a concept, the offer shows the style used in the next Polestar 3, an SUV. Since SUVs are so popular these days, we’re going to ask a question: Can Polestar and Koenigsegg work together to build a very strong intersection?
Obviously, this is complete speculation, and to be perfectly honest, this gathering of brands on the Swedish coast could only be a good photo session of electrified electric machines. We will be looking for more fonts in our fonts, but as suggested in Instagram posts, we will stay updated for now.
