McLaren 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis in web shape with MSO

Retirement is almost always a reason to celebrate an anniversary. Namely: McLaren 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis, which is a very rare design by McLaren, is inspired by the villain Florentine arachnid Segestria. The design agency, which MSO calls the “spider”, will apply the Segestria Borealis treatment to the last 12 examples of the Cabrio 600LT. The final version of the 600LT Spider is now available and costs $ 275,500.

MSO begins with a bright exterior Borealis Black, which is highlighted in light with shades of green, purple, and dark red as well as iridescent black color of the poisonous spider. Two Napier Green lines extend over this plate, running from the nose to the tail above the top of the car, reminiscent of the spider’s cheek teeth. Napier Green finds its way to the brake pads and super sports car strips on the rear diffuser, front fenders and side skirts. A shape appears on the spoiler and side mirrors, which coincide with the chaotic and tubular grid of Florentine Segestria.

Also available on the MSO Clubsport package, which includes lightweight titanium wheel nails, glossy carbon fiber bumpers, lightweight carbon racing seats, and carbon fiber interior.

MSO has introduced you to many of the themes of exterior design. The black bucket seats with Alcantara trim have light green stitching and embroidered details that match the irregular spider web pattern on the outside. The 12 o’clock stripe on the Alcantara wheel has the same electrifying color as the carpet bindings.

In addition to the Clubsport package, the 600LT Segestria Borealis includes an improved Bowers & Wilkins audio system with 12 speakers, rear parking sensors, a front axle lift system and a McLaren Track telemetry data logger. Otherwise, it’s the standard 600LT Spider tariff: a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 with 442 hp (441 kilowatts) and 620 newton meters (457 pound-feet) and an output on the ground via a seven-speed gearbox . Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 2.8 seconds, and the aerodynamic power generation body keeps the 600LT Spider on the road even at high speeds.
