There is a new hood design with ventilation slots at the ends and a huge wing at the back.
We haven’t seen spy photos of the new Porsche 911 GT3. The wait is over as the bad model appears in a new photo gallery. Compared to the previous photos, this car uses much less coverage.
The ventilated hood of the new 911 GT3 looks much better. The pair of holes immediately catches the eye and indicates that this is not a typical 911. Compared to the existing Carrera, the bottom bezel of this car has a wide opening that spans much of the car width, and there are smaller inlets to the corners.
Porsche 911 GT3 is installed on large diameter wheels with central lock and Y-shaped amplifiers. There are geometric cross-drilled brake discs, and the yellow calipers indicate that the discs use the company’s ceramic compound.
At the rear, this car offers the best look up to the rear wing with gooseneck bracket. The bras exposed on it seem to allow manual adjustment, depending on the downforce the driver wants in the back. There is also a small duck tail spoiler at the end of the rear deck.
There are two circular exhaust tips that come out of the middle area under the bumper. A distinctive diffuser surrounds the outlets.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 is reported to use an improved version of the 4.0-liter V6 engine, and the modifications increase production to about 550 hp (410 kW).
But if you want this performance in a more subtle style, spy photos show that a 911 GT3 Touring is on the road. It has the same hood design, but the wing on the back is missing.
It is unclear when the 911 GT3 will debut.
