This is because the Road Runner is known as a power car that offers power and torque without excuses. And no version of Hemi Road Runner is as powerful and explosive as the Hemi – Hemi version of 1968 to be more precise. Equipped with a 425-horsepower, 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8 engine, the 1968 Plymouth Road Runner is a legendary endurance racing car. It is interesting to note that Plymouth granted a license for the name and image of Road Runner to Warner Brothers and even went on to develop a 1968 Hemi horn by imitating the character’s famous “beep-beep” sound.
