The World Wide Web has already documented the spread of a number of spy photos of the all-new 4 Series with its coupé and disclosure from the Bavarian company, but today we have received unofficial information regarding this upcoming car.
New and unofficial press releases published by BMW Blog have indicated that the all-new BMW 4 Series will appear in a test version next September at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Unofficial information paves the way for a test version of this model before the launch of the all-new commercial production version that will be sold in international markets to compete specifically with the Mercedes C Class Coupe and Audi A5.
Since we are talking about press releases about the appearance of a test version of the fourth category at the Frankfurt Motor Show, we would like to remind you that the Bavarian manufacturer has confirmed the introduction of the all-new BMW X6 at this event, and there are unofficial expectations indicate the appearance of the new BMW M3 Fully within this exhibition.
The all-new BMW 4-Series will undoubtedly be based on the identity of its sister sedan, the current 3-Series 2019, but it will be characterized by a larger front suspicion, with two doors instead of 4 doors and a convertible roof in the convertible.
Mechanically, the upcoming 4 Series is likely to subscribe to the same options as existing BMW 3 Series engines:
- A 4-liter turbocharged engine with 258 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.
- A 3-liter, 6-cylinder, turbocharged engine with 374 hp and 500 Nm of torque.
- A hybrid version combines the work of a 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor.
Without doubt, the upcoming high-performance version of the new M3-Class and M4-Series 4 will share the same engine.
Just as a reminder, the Frankfurt Motor Show will kick off on September 12.
